Eating out ... We ate good food in Brela, but the best grilled fish we ate at konoba Feral down at

Once a year we book one week to Croatia (mostly island of Vis). September is the best time where we think! - Hot o beauty of sea water (25-26 degrees) - comfortable temperature in the air (about 23-25), so you have the energy to do things that we like, hike, for example - fewer tourists than in the high season, therefore easier to find accommodation, cheaper and no crowds on the beaches and the like. This year we booked flights to Split 2 weeks, and began with the Makarska Riviera and the tiny village of Brela. (Shuttle art institute of dallas Bus from the flight to Split, then bus about 1 hr.) ......... All of my previous post about Croatia (Dubrovnik, Zadar o national parks, art institute of dallas Brac, Hvar, Korcula, Omis, Trogir) you will find direct linking here http://www.desires.se/#post115
Brela ... I had pre-booked a room in the small village of Brela. The room was booked through www.airbnb.com and owner named Maja Medic. "Dream vacation in beautiful Brela", the view from the room below. We stayed in a room with a nice view from the balcony, well located (5 mins down to the harbor and the beach). Family Medic was very helpful and always available for us tourists.
Makarska called this part of Croatia. Typical of Makarska is the mighty mountains, and cities of which is beautifully between the ocean and mountains. Down in the small port located restaurants, bars and cafes. Many fine beaches in this area! Really nice to walk along the promenade to the nearby Baska Voda (took about 20 min.) Baska Voda ... is a charming little town, slightly larger than Brela as little more street life and restaurants here - as well as the finest and longest beaches. And as usual in Croatia, the water turquoise, crystal clear and absolutely beautiful!
Eating out ... We ate good food in Brela, but the best grilled fish we ate at konoba Feral down at Brelas port. Feral has got 4.5 rating in TripAdvisor, art institute of dallas we ate a very tasty fish dish there - book a table in time only, many who want to enjoy their food!
This idyllic little fishing village has become our paradise, here we have been 5 times and 4 of them, we have lived with it nice and extremely hospitable couple Dubravka and Lenko their Apartmani Kolelastra (www.smokva.net). This accommodation is the best we have ever had in Croatia, we come here every year and it feels just fine every time. Prospects from the apartments below.
Do you live here, you get a giant fresh accommodation with stunning views from the balcony, and the hosts who do everything for you to get your best vacation, they are so service-minded and hospitable! One can not but enjoy this accommodation and the quaint little fishing village of Komiza - so peaceful and relaxing! 'Hikes ... We made several wonderful hikes during our week in Komiza, among others, we took a boat out to the island Bisevo. There, we walked across the island - with örtdoftande plants everywhere - it always smells so good in Croatia!
Another hike we did was this: We started on the right of Bisevo hotel. Wandered about 1.5 hours on "paths" that at times were pretty tough and very uphill. A lot of stones, large and small, that meant you had to keep track of where you put your feet .... Very beautiful scenery we experienced!
We started walking down the mountain to Stiniva, art institute of dallas but gave up after a while. Stiniva is probably the easiest to get to by boat ... Stoncica we went to the car, it was a beautifully situated super nice sandy beach outside Vis town! Cozy restaurant at Stoncica! Eating Out In Komiza there are several good restaurants, the most famous being konoba Bako, Jaztocera and Barbaresco. All these three have good food and are cozy near the water, at a nice little bay with beautiful views towards the village. This is where many sailors, art institute of dallas so often it is necessary to pre-book here. This year we ate Touch Barba restaurant - delicious! (But be sure to book a table and the food in advance if you want to eat this Croatian specialty, it takes 2 hours to cook - lamb, vegetables, potatoes, onions, white wine boiled art institute of dallas in a pot over an open fire) More about Komiza and island Vis you can read in my previous post http://www.desires.se/#post136, http://www.desires.se/#post148
Old Town This is Croatia's second largest city and is considered to be the most beautiful (except Dubrovnik). Old Town is dominated by the mighty Diocletian's palace with its high bell tower. This palace area built by the Roman emperor Diocletian in the late 200s. That's a mighty monuments in limestone art institute of dallas and marble, surrounded by walls - and the streets. The construction took ten years to complete. A tourist destination is the clock tower where you can go up the dark narrow stairs to enjoy a fantastic view of the city.
Streets and squares are adorned with precious marble imported from Greece and Italy. Split's old town is car-free and full of cafes, small shops and restaurants. It abounds with narrow streets, many leading to the old town square and church.
This studio was completely renovated, cozy and beautifully designed with stone walls from the palace well preserved. In contrast, there was a slight drawback to this position, art institute of dallas the studio was in the ground near a bar's
