Among those who saw warning lights on their dashboards over the past year, only 29% investigated the thing straight, while 39% expect to have between one and four days before addressing the problem.
"It is surprising to us that millions of us are driving around for days - or even months - when the warning light is flashing," said head of communications Kwik Fit, Roger Griggs.
