26 September 2013 [News] It is popular with schools and other institutions to lend art. Since 2011, the interest to borrow works of art from the Danish Arts Foundation increased beard competition significantly.
During the past year, the Danish Arts Foundation sent 700 works out to include schools, beard competition colleges, hospitals, nursing homes, libraries, and around 400 works coming to town in the fall of 2013. Institutions from across the country participating in ordningnen, especially in Jutland when the art to a wide area.
The art has become more accessible One reason for the sharp rise in borrowing art popularity is that it has become more accessible. Last year launched the Danish Arts Foundation Web Portal vores.kunst.dk where all interested institutions and workplaces can see which works the Danish Arts Foundation lends.
"The art, the Danish Arts Foundation buyer belongs to us all. Therefore, it is important beard competition that we ensure that citizens across the country and from all strata of society can meet it and enjoy it every day, so it is not only the citizens of the cities that have the opportunity to experience the best Danish contemporary art, "said Soren Jensen, Chairman of the Danish Arts Foundation Slide Artistic Purchase and Grants Committee.
Schools are particularly interested in the launch of vores.kunst.dk the Danish Arts Foundation succeeded in strengthening the schools' demand for Danish contemporary art. Schools, colleges and other educational institutions account for 39 out of the 70 applications received positive response in the period 2012 to June 2013. 2 out of 3 applications Kunstfonden right now receiver also comes from schools. This trend Søren Jensen supports: "We want to ensure that all Danish children, young people and students have access to arts experiences in the classroom - even in areas where there is much to art museums and other cultural experiences. In some parts of the country, schools are the only place you can experience contemporary art in the community. "
All institutions with public access may apply to borrow works of art from the Danish Arts Foundation. See what works that can be borrowed here can apply to borrow works twice a year, next time by 14 January 2014. Find application instructions on www.kunst.dk
Danish beard competition Arts Foundation Slide Artistic Purchase and Grants Committee and the Danish Arts Foundation's Arts, Crafts and Design Committee selects and buys each year for 2.5-6.5 million. paintings, sculptures beard competition and other works by contemporary Danish artists who then lent. At present 462 works ready to lend.
Danish Arts Foundation was established in 1964 with the aim to get art out to the general public and since 1968 it has been possible to borrow Fund works through the deposit scheme. About 10,000 of the fund's artwork hangs in day out on the institutions and workplaces across the country.
